Indy’s Kitchen Offers Professional Cooking Classes

By Sylvia Burlock, Edible Indy Editorial Contributor

This April Indy’s Kitchen is providing spring culinary classes for the public. Chef Dwight Simmons, owner of Indy Star Chefs and winner of Chef of the Year from the American Culinary Federation Greater Indianapolis Chapter, will oversee the classes. “All of our classes are hands-on, except for the Girls Night Out Seafood class, which is a demonstration course,” says Chef Simmons about the upcoming spring classes. Indy’s Kitchen will host all of the classes at 6:30 pm; reservations can be made online. Participants are taught how to prepare food as well as essential culinary skills. “We make sure to have fun making different recipes, while including certain culinary techniques for home cooking.”
